Year Five looks at what it means to ‘do the right thing’.

This week, Year Five has been looking at what it mean to ‘do the right thing’.  We have been looking at morals and thinking of some good examples.  Here is what we have come up with so far!

UPDATE: Poetry Slam! NOW Friday 8th May

Hope you are all having a good holiday!

Next term in Literacy we will be learning about poetry, and writing some of our own too. On the Friday 1st May Friday 8th May we would like to invite parents in for a performance of our work in the afternoon, so please keep it free if you can.

John has kindly made us a couple of videos of things we’ve been learning this week so that you can practise at home between now and next week.

The first video has Rose class’s dance for the Capulet ball scene, and the second video has Juliet’s love song for Cherry class.

Romeo and Juliet Performance!

We will be performing Romeo and Juliet for parents on Thursday 26th March at 2.15pm.

The performance will end just after 3 0’clock and you will be able to take your children home then! Please bring Mums, Dads, Grannys, Grandads, Aunts, Uncles and anyone else who would like to see it! We have a professional actor working with the children and they are putting a lot hard work in!

We hope that everyone will be able to make it!
